Why is living here better than an apartment? - Liberty Landing Manufactured Home Community in Liberty Missouri
Q. Why is living here better than an apartment?
A.

1.       It’s YOUR home.  You own it.  You can plant a garden, paint the walls, decorate the kitchen, and celebrate having a home that belongs to you.

2.       You’re building EQUITY.  With apartment living, you’ll never get back one cent in the rent you paid.  In a Liberty Landing home, you’re making an investment.

3.       You’re NOT SHARING WALLS with your neighbors.  Even though we screen every applicant that wants to move into Liberty Landing, we still think all four walls should be yours.

4.       There’s more PRIVACY.  You won’t be stacked on top of your neighbor and listening to footsteps on the ceiling above your bed.

5.       You can have a STORAGE SHED on your home site, just a few steps from your front door.

6.       A manufactured home is all on ONE FLOOR.  You don’t have to climb up three stories to get to your apartment.  Homeowners with small children, wheelchairs and walkers LOVE our homes.

7.       NO BASEMENTS to flood.

8.       NO SCHLEPPING LAUNDRY up and down to the cellar, either.  Liberty Landing homes have utility rooms located on the same level with all your other living space.

9.      Liberty Landing is LOCALLY OWNED and operated.  We care about our residents because we’re here.  We have on-site management available 24 hours a day and beautifully maintained parks, playgrounds, a storm shelter and community room.

10.   The SUN SHINES more brightly and BIRDS SING more sweetly in a mobile home park -seriously! You have your own yard, flowers, bushes and trees to look at every day.  Who can say that about an apartment?1.       It’s YOUR home.  You own it.  You can plant a garden, paint the walls, decorate the kitchen, and celebrate having a home that belongs to you.

Q. How much should I budget for utilities in the home?
A.

Water, trash and sewer are provided through the City of Liberty and can average between $35 and $60 per month.   Electric and gas through KCP&L and Spire average $30 to $125 per month, depending on the size of the house and age of the system.

Liberty Landing is a great place to call home. You dont have to take our word for it. Heres what some of our residents have to say about Liberty Landing:

I tell everyone I know how much I love living in this unique community. I enjoy helping decorate the clubhouse for the holidays and I go to lots of parties and potlucks with friends there. I really like the chili cook-off we have every year at the clubhouse that benefits the fire department.

Mary M

"When we relocated from St. Charles, MO, out of every park we researched, Liberty Landing was by far the nicest.  We love the swimming pool.  We see upgrading and improvements going on all the time around the community." TK

"We love living here.  We really enjoy the flower give-away in the spring and the free grass seed.  We won the Garden of the Month award last year.  The Christmas Lights Decorating Contest and holiday parties are lots of fun." MM

"We had been looking into manufactured homes for over 2 years. We had worked with several home sales people with no warm fuzzy feeling from any of them. We stumbled on Liberty Landing through our Internet searches. After meeting with Karen at Liberty Landing and taking a tour of the community we decided this was the place for us. She showed us Skyline home packages available but none were exactly what we had in mind for our
"I’ve lived here 15 years and plan on staying longer. It’s been a great place to raise my kids and Liberty schools are top-rated. We feel safe here, everyone is friendly, and it feels like home. We like the renovated clubhouse, the pool and the many new homes." JS

I am really happy in my own home at Liberty Landing-- I feel safe when I come home from work late at night.  I feel secure knowing all the neighbors were required to submit to a criminal background check before being allowed to live here.  And I love the trees and flowers and green space. K.D.

"I like living here because I can do some great gardening and landscaping. I grow some awesome peppers in my back yard!  I can see tall trees, wildlife, and pastures and even hear the neighboring cows moo.  The nature trail is one of my favorite places to go walking. The management is big-hearted and wholesome. What more could you ask for?" Bruce
